You know your SAP Finance setup has gaps. Which ones could derail your project?

SAP's Readiness Check tells you whether the system can technically convert. It says nothing about whether your finance design, reporting, and processes will actually work after go-live. This assessment does, across nine sections, in about 40 minutes, with a scored dashboard the moment you finish.

SAP Readiness Check tells you

Whether your system can technically convert to S/4HANA. It is a sizing and compatibility check. Necessary, but it is an IT metric, and it is silent on whether the numbers will be right.

This assessment tells you

Whether your finance design is ready: ledgers, intercompany, close, reporting, governance, and the readiness to automate. The financial truth must match the operational reality. This is where you find out if it does.

What it checks

Nine sections in all. You are scored on the five to seven that apply to your project phase.

Strategic Alignment & Goals

Whether Finance, not IT or your SI, is setting the direction. Misalignment here cascades into every design decision that follows.

Program Setup & Governance

Who holds design authority and whether Finance risks are actively owned. When no one can say no to a design decision, the build optimises for the SI, not for your numbers.

Finance Operating Model & Enterprise Structure

The structural backbone: company codes, ledgers, chart of accounts, document splitting, intercompany. These are the hardest things to fix after go-live.

Localization & Compliance

Country legal, tax, and statutory requirements, where the "SAP standard covers it" assumption breaks after go-live and turns into a compliance scramble.

Process Scope & Reporting

What is in scope, whether margin is explainable in the system, and who owns each process after go-live. Gaps here resurface as Excel rebuilds and orphaned processes once the SI leaves.

Realization Health Check

Whether the design was validated before build, whether testing went past the happy path, and whether Finance reconciled the migrated data. What slips here ships into production and surfaces at the first close.

Post-Go-Live Stabilization

How the live system actually performs: stability, Excel dependency, close speed, adoption, and whether your team can run it. Persistent workarounds here mean the design under-delivered, and the cost is now recurring.

Automation & AI Readiness

Whether your data quality and roadmap can actually carry automation and AI in Finance. Automating on weak data, or with no roadmap, scales the errors and the spend, not the savings.

How it works

1

Answer the assessment

Nine sections that adapt to your project phase, around 40 to 50 questions depending on whether you are in Explore, Realize, or Live. About 40 minutes.

2

See your dashboard instantly

A traffic-light readiness score, a ring chart for every scored finance domain (five to seven, depending on your phase), and your top five immediate risks, on screen the moment you finish.

3

Decide your next step

Phase-specific recommendations, plus the option to book a design review or a call. No waiting for a report, no charge.

An instant, visual readiness dashboard

No five-day wait, no PDF in your inbox a week later. The moment you submit, you see a traffic-light score, a ring chart for every scored finance domain, and your top five immediate risks, ranked, with the business impact of each spelled out.

  • Green: on track, minimal risk
  • Amber: needs attention before it costs you
  • Red: critical risk that could derail the project
