Independent review of your S/4HANA Finance design before it goes to build
Your blueprint, read by someone who does not build it. Risk-ranked findings and a clear go or fix list, before the design becomes configuration.
What I review
- Enterprise structure and chart of accounts
- Finance integration with logistics, sales, procurement, production and projects (MM, SD, PP, PS, PM/CS)
- Ledger design and parallel accounting (FI-GL)
- Document splitting and Profit Center Accounting
- Margin Analysis (CO-PA)
- Product Costing and Material Ledger (CO-PC)
- Overhead Controlling and allocations (CO-OM, PaPM)
- Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and Investment Management
- Intercompany billing, reconciliation (ICMR) and group reporting
Most of the findings come from the integration, not from the ledgers. The postings that break the first close are created in logistics, sales, procurement, production and projects, and Finance rarely reviews them.
What you get
- A written report with findings ranked by risk
- A challenge session on the key design decisions with your team and your System Integrator
- A go or fix list per finding
- A follow-up on the fixes before build starts
When it fits
At the end of the Explore or blueprint phase, before Realize. Before a wave or country rollout that reuses the template. After a go-live that did not deliver the numbers, before the next release.
After the review
Most review clients keep the seat. The review is the audition; the Quality Assurance seat is how the design stays right through build, test and the first close.
What clients say
I have hired Uğur as S/4HANA expert on our migration project for the Corporate SAP environment. Together with our business and IT architects, he worked on the projects pre-study and detailed out the as-is and to-be situations. Together with his Air France colleague Uğur was responsible for leading the RFI process for our integrator selection.
